Ryan Beckwith


Ryan Beckwith is the owner/operator of A3 Sports & Wellness, Inc. and has helped thousands of athletes achieve their goals in sport (and life) over the last 20 years as a coach and educator. His specialties are biomechanics, speed and power, weightlifting for athletes, and developing the holistic athlete.

Ryan was a three-sport athlete in high school and received a full football scholarship to California State University, Northridge where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. He also competed in track and field. He transferred to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) where he competed in track and field while earning his Master of Education degree in Sport Management.

Ryan began his career at the University of Georgia as he served as the Associate Director of the Georgia G-Club as well as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, where he assisted in the teaching of Speed Mechanics to the UGA Football Program. He then moved back to the west coast to work at UCLA and served as the Head Strength Coach for various teams including Soccer, Tennis, and Track, Rowing, and the Assistant Strength Coach for Football and Basketball. While at UCLA, Ryan also served as a guest lecturer for Exercise Science with UCLA Extension. After several successful seasons, Ryan accepted a position as the first-ever Director of Speed, Strength, and Conditioning at the prominent Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, CA, where he was also the Sprint Coach for Varsity Track. Ryan later served as the Assistant Track and Field Coach and Strength at Conditioning Coach for Basketball at the College of San Mateo, in addition to being an Adjunct Instructor. He has also been a personal fitness trainer at an elite sports club and a Director of Athletic Performance at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After 11 years on a career path, Ryan made the difficult decision to pursue his long-held dream of competing in the Olympics as a Decathlete. He committed to training full time as a professional athlete. He continued to train and compete after meeting his wife and moving to Bakersfield. Once living in Bakersfield, Ryan accepted the position as Director of Athletics at Bakersfield College and “retired the spikes”. After two years as a college administrator, Ryan greatly missed having a direct impact on student-athletes as a coach and returned to doing what he loves most. Ryan founded A3 Sports & Wellness, Inc. in 2013, and the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Athletes’ Advantage Academy, Inc. became official in 2014. Both allow him to live out his passion for coaching and developing student-athletes.



Alex Raya is a Performance Coach, Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and USAW Level 1 Certified Coach. He also has expertise in working with clients with special needs. Alex has a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology.

He was a Division 1 college athlete competing in both Track & Field and Cross Country. Alex is a jack of all trades and also specializes in coaching running form and helping endurance and distance runners excel. Alex has been a Cross Country and Track & Field coach at the high school level. He also holds a Kettlebell Certification and Indian Club & Mace Certification from Agatsu Fitness.
Allison Luther coach at coach at A3 Sports Performance



Allison is a Strength & Performance Coach and Softball Specialist. She has her B.S. in Kinesiology and two Masters degrees including one in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Strength & Conditioning. She began her coaching career at Fresno State and has coached high school and travel softball for over 20 years.

Allison was a Valley Championship Coach for softball in 2016. She has been a high school teacher for years and recently transitioned to Jr. High.



Andrew Suter is a Speed, Strength and Performance Coach. Andrew has two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Kinesiology and one in Biology. He's coached athletes for over 10 years, which started with coaching soccer teams and athletes. Andrew is also pursuing his secondary teaching credential and is a substitute teacher by day.



Ariana is a Performance Coach and certified Barre instructor. She has a degree in Psychology and minored in Kinesiology. Ari played club and high school volleyball. Ari coaches Barre, VRT, and Strength and loves helping empower athletes and adults to become their best selves.

Carlos is the Head Coach of A3’s Shafter Fit program. He earned his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from CSUB with an emphasis in Exercise Science and is currently working toward his Masters of Kinesiology. Carlos has coached football, soccer, and track at the high school level and wants to pursue a career as an Athletic Trainer.



Jasmin Dixon is a Performance Coach and Basketball Specialist who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Master’s Degree. She played basketball for four years at CSUB and earned All-League and All-Area as a high school player. She’s also a full time long-term substitute teacher.



Joel Iriarte is a Performance Coach and Boxing Specialist who has years of experience coaching kids and athletes in the sport of boxing. He’s a seventeen time national boxer and is an international gold medalist. He’s won three Boxer of the Year awards. In 11 years training as a youth and professional boxer, Joel has an immense understanding of elite training, strategic planning, nutrition, recovery, quality coaching, and working toward specific targets and goals.



Kevin Larson is a Performance Coach, USAW Level 1 Certified Coach, a Baseball Specialist, and Personal Trainer. He specializes in helping baseball players - specifically pitchers - improve their skills and performance. Kevin is a former D1 Collegiate Baseball player. He graduated from Fresno State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Physical Education.

Kyle Ferreira is a Performance Coach and Basketball Specialist. Kyle was a collegiate basketball player at Cal Lutheran where he pursued a degree in Kinesiology and then earned his degree in Business Management. Upon his college career, he played professional basketball in France.

Kyle is a middle school P.E. Teacher by day! Kyle came up through the A3 system as an athlete and comes to us from Sports Academy (formerly Mamba) in Thousand Oaks. He loves impacting athletes and is pursuing his Master’s Degree for a future in Sports Administration.
Luke coach at A3 Sports Performance



Luke Parviainen is a Performance Coach, Speed Coach and USATF Level 1 Coach. He’s the Head Coach of A3’s Track & Field Club. He was a collegiate track and field athlete (sprinter) at Chico State University, where he graduated with his degree in Economics.

His passions are in teaching proper biomechanics to optimize performance, minimize injury, and develop more athletic movement patterns. Coach Luke is also a high school Math teacher by day!
Martin Espinosa coach at A3 Sports Performance



Martin Espinosa is our General Manager and Lead Coach. He’s a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and 10-year Veteran of the United States Navy. He has a Master’s degree in Kinesiology. After his career in the Navy, he realized he had two passions: fitness and training.

Martin attended the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in Santa Monica and obtained his Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Exercise Specialist Certifications from National Academy of Sports Medicine. Martin also serves as A3’s Intern Coordinator where we train the best of the best future coaches and personal trainers.



Molly Thompson is a certified Barre instructor and has two Bachelor’s degrees (Biology & Psychology) and a Master’s in Performance Psychology. She’s a mama, wife, a former college athlete (XC), and also the ACE (Athlete & Client Experience) at A3 where she helps propel our athletes and clients toward bigger and better PRs!

Molly offers athletes valuable advice to assist their mental performance skills for competition, their mindset, and their motivations. She competed in Cross Country and Track & Field at Mount Mercy University and was a 7-time NAIA national qualifier.


Member Concierge

Gracie Ramos provides exceptional support to A3’s athletes, clients, and families as Member Concierge. She’ll be one of the first faces to greet you and helps keep our team running smooth and organized so that we can do what we do best - coach others to achieve their goals! Gracie began as a soccer athlete and A3er looking to enhance her success with performance training.

Kalli Beckwith operations at A3 Sports Performance



Kalli Beckwith is the Chief Business Officer at A3 where she oversees Operations, Marketing & Finances. She’s a credentialed School Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is pursuing her Nutrition Coaching and Women’s Health Coaching Certifications to follow her passions for helping more women and busy moms find the path to sustainable health.

Jonah Brooom


Jonah has joined our team as CSM! He's dedicated to helping make sure our athletes and clients are on the best path to excel physically and mentally. He's like a Recruiting Coordinator, Student-Athlete Advisor and Sports Information Director all in one as Client Success Manager at A3!

Jonah was a collegiate basketball athlete and has been through the recruiting process; he has years of experience guiding athletes, and a strong educational foundation in kinesiology and sports performance methodologies, so he has a full understanding of what athletes need most. Jonah has years of experience in client care and has been a leader in various industries. He loves sports and athletics and absolutely loves being able to support athletes, parents, and adults who are all on a mission to level up their game!
